First use of "computer" for an electronic device?

edit

When electronics (as defined in Wikipedia) did not yet exist? And when Turing, in his celebrated 1936 article, still used "computer" to refer to a person that computes? I find this claim hard to believe. A citation should be provided - or it should be removed (note also that the entry computer includes no such claim). AmirOnWiki (talk) 23:57, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

British Monarch Jubilees

edit

I find the this sentence ("No other British monarch will celebrate such a jubilee until June 2, 2012, when the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II is observed") a little silly, given there is only 110 years between the article and today. 113 years since victorias death. Its only possible for one other monarch to have managed it in that time - should this be changed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.4.84.3 (talk) 05:58, 18 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Would anybody mind if I added...
