Many uncited articles for early years of the Aggies

There are many similar articles for the early years of the Aggies/Wildcats, most of which have no or very few citations (I have found a reliable citation ("K-State and Fort Riley tangled in 1896". Daily Union. 4 September 1986.), but I could not find many references to the early KS Aggies. I don't think these early seasons meet WP:GNG (though maybe there are more newspaper sources from the time), though later seasons (under the Wildcats name) seem to and it's hard to know where the cutoff should be. Should these articles be merged into Kansas State Wildcats football#Early history (1893–1966) (if they have any relevant content), made into a separate section/article, or get deleted? If yes to any of these, what should the cutoff be for articles that stay (or do we need to check every season for WP:GNG)? Quuxbazbarfoo (talk) 14:31, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
