I had the information from older wikipedia pages that John Dunstaple was born in 1369, but this has been contested and replaced by "c.1390", so I removed his name from here. I also had the information from (not always reliable, admittedly) webpages such as this that clavicembalo developed from psaltery during the 1360s, but I haven't found any real sources supporting it. Here is "a drawing in the Velislav Bible of 1340" of a woman plucking a psaltery with both hands; and then in 1387 there is a reference to an instrument called exaquir (1387) as "an instrument like an organ which sounds by means of strings"; see also History of the harpsichord. It seems that the development of clavicemballo must have taken place somewhere between 1840s and 1890s but it seems there are not any secondary or primary sources to justify that it was developed particularly in the 1360s so I removed it from the article.
