Intro section edit
The intro section has too much about OO vs EM vs P4_gauge_P4 - that should be covered in the article or in the P4/EM articles. 00 OR OO? edit
I thought that it was OO gauge (double O rather that double zero)?? The name of The Double O Gauge Association seems to support that too as does the name of Hornby Dublo yet the wikipedia article is called 00 gauge. With OO9 the 009 society uses the number instead of the letter yet the wikipedia uses the letter. I thought that OO9 was correct - as the OO comes from OO gauge. --Zabdiel 13:38, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- As discussed elsewhere, double-zero is more historically accurate but double-oh is nowadays widely used and also approved by some bodies. Note that "Hornby Dublo" proves nothing, because in the UK "oh" is frequently used as the sound for zero (cf. "James Bond 007", spoken as "double-oh seven" even though it is incontrovertibly two zeroes before the seven), so "Dublo" works just as well for "00" as for "OO".
