Re this [1] - the confusion may stem from the fact that it was a pilgrimage site for the Warmia region (which was in Poland) and that the coat of arms of the Polish king was placed on the rebuild chapel. However, the latter was due to the fact that he funded the rebuilding of the chapel - the place itself was in the Duchy of Prussia. Volunteer Marek  13:32, 12 September 2011 (UTC)Reply


Name "Święta Lipka" was present in the circa 1935 German railroad schedule. It's just a Polish name, probably dating back to the times of Ordenstaat. Space Veteran (talk) 11:11, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
