Sophie Wais Braun (born 26 January 2000), known as Sophia Braun, is an Argentine footballer who plays as a defender for the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League. Born and raised in the United States to an American father and an Argentine mother, she plays for the Argentina women's national team.

Braun was raised in Beaverton, Oregon to an American father and an Argentine mother.[4][6]
High school and college career edit
Braun attended the Jesuit High School in Beaverton, Oregon and Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.[4]
International career edit
Braun represented Argentina at the 2020 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship.[7] She made her senior debut on 18 February 2021, in a 1–4 loss to Brazil at that year's edition of the SheBelieves Cup.[8]
