Shahriar (Persian: شهريار, also Romanized as Shahrīār and Shahryār)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Shahriar Rural District of the Central District of Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Lurs.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,123 in 438 households, when it was in Falard Rural District of the former Falard District of Lordegan County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,211 people in 563 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,076 people in 614 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Falard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital and only city.[4]
