Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1990 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum.[1]
Description
editThe male is recorded at 3.11mm in length whereas the female is 4.32mm.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Mount Arthur in New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Naturally Uncommon" with the qualifier of "Range Restricted".[2]
