Roknabad, Razavi Khorasan

Roknabad (Persian: رکن‌آباد, also Romanized as Roknābād; also known as Rowkhnābād and Ruknābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Jolgeh Rural District Rural District of Shahrabad District, Bardaskan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,963 in 513 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,984 people in 597 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,039 people in 640 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
