Qing Madi is the debut eponymous extended play by Nigerian singer and songwriter Qing Madi. It was released on 17 November 2023 by Jton Music.[1] It received generally favorable reviews from critics and reached number 14 on Nigeria Apple Music.[2]

Qing Madi spawned the hit song "Ole", which charted at 12 on the TurnTable Top 100.[3]
Background and release edit
In 2022, Qing Madi released her breakout single "See finish", and the song made its breakthrough primarily on TikTok.[4][5] The song caught the attention of Bnxn, who decided to make a song with her titled "Ole".[6] [7][8] Qing Madi was also announced by Apple Music As Next Rated Artist in Nigeria,[9] in 2023.[10] After the announcement Qing Madi released the 7 track eponymous Ep through Jton Music on 17 November 2023.[11]
On 3 August 2023, Madi released the music video of the second single "Ole" which was directed by Director Pink.[12]

The EP contains seven tracks which was produced by Jton Music.
"Madi's Medley" the first track is an Afrobeat song with melodic tunes about Qing Madi's strength to protect herself from enemies. The second track, "Ole", is a Contemporary song which shows Madi and Bnxn passing messages of pride through the lyrics. The third track, "Vision", is an Afrobeats song, showing Madi singing about her future and her vision through the song lyrics. The fourth track, "American Love", is a Love song addressed to a love interest about her affirmation of love and the world. The fifth track, "Chargie" is a Afropop song about her struggle of fame, enemies trying to bring her down. The next track, "Why", is a pop song about people trying to know about her and her way of living. While the last track "See finish" is a Nigeria R&B and Afropop song addressed about how people criticize her and she stays clear to avoid see finish.[13]
