Taxonomy
editThis species was described as Lobetina plagiata in 1917 by Raymond Comte de Dalmas.[1] The genus Lobetina was recognized as a synonym of Prasonica in 1971, so the species is now Prasonica plagiata.[2]

editThe body is recorded at 5mm in length.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[3]
