The Parmar Gurjar (also spelled as Purmar, Purwar and Parmara)[1][2][3][4] is a clan (Gotra) of Gurjar caste mostly found in the Indian state of gujarat, rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and Neighbouring Areas.[5]

Between the 11th and 12th century Jaideva Parmar ruler of Malwi region was the commander of Gurjar king Jaisingh (Jaiyasimha).[6]
