Mohamed El Bachir Belloumi (Arabic: محمد البشير بلومي; born 1 June 2002) is an Algerian footballer who plays as a winger for EFL Championship club Hull City. He is the son of Algerian former footballer Lakhdar Belloumi.[1]

Club career
editMC Oran
editBachir Belloumi started his career young with GC Mascara. On 25 August 2020, he was transferred in MC Oran. On 16 January 2021, Belloumi was promoted to MC Oran's first team, and played the first match against CR Belouizdad as a substitute. The first goal in his football career was in a 6–0 victory against US Biskra. He left the club for Europe in September 2021.[2]
Farense
editOn 27 February 2022, Belloumi moved to Portugal, joining Liga Portugal 2 club S.C. Farense.[3] On 31 July 2023, following promotion to the Primeira Liga, he extended his contract with the Faro-based club until 2026, with his release clause being set at €5 million.[4][5]
After impressing during the first half of the 2023–24 season, in January 2024 Belloumi extended his contract with Farense until 2027, which saw his release clause rise to €15 million.[6][7]
Hull City
editOn 30 August 2024, Belloumi moved to EFL Championship club Hull City for an undisclosed fee. He signed a four-year deal with the Tigers that would keep him at the club until the summer of 2028.[8] On 13 September 2024, he made his debut in the 0–2 loss at home to Sheffield United.[9] On 28 September 2024, he scored two goals in the 4–1 home win against Cardiff City.[10]
International career
editBachir Belloumi was on the final list to participate in the 2020 UNAF U-20 Tournament qualifying for the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and participated in all matches and scored one goal against Tunisia.[11]
On 17 June 2021, Belloumi was called up for the first time to the Algeria A' national football team in the opening match of the new stadium in Oran against Liberia and participated as a substitute in a 5–1 win.[12]
