Makvan Rural District (Persian: دهستان ماكوان) is in Bayangan District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Dudan.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,327 in 570 households.[5] There were 2,255 inhabitants in 615 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,149 in 633 households. The most populous of its 33 villages was Zardui, with 743 people.[2]
