Mahmeleh Rural District

Mahmeleh Rural District (Persian: دهستان محمله)[3] is in Mahmeleh District of Khonj County, Fars province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Mahmeleh.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,925 in 817 households.[6] There were 5,041 inhabitants in 1,228 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,452 in 1,493 households. The most populous of its 58 villages was Chah Tus, with 1,497 people.[2]
