Kuhpayeh-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهپايه غربي) is in the Central District of Abyek County, Qazvin province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Kundaj.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,157 in 1,227 households.[5] There were 2,798 inhabitants in 910 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,066 in 1,065 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Kundaj, with 1,509 people.[2]
