Kharvana District (Persian: بخش خاروانا) is in Varzaqan County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kharvana.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 12,878 in 3,147 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,495 people in 3,111 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 16,753 inhabitants in 5,308 households.[2]
