Khamak (Persian: خمک) is a village in, and the capital of, Khamak Rural District of Khamak District, Zehak County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran,[3] and also serves as capital of the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,263 in 324 households, when it was in Jazink District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,439 people in 390 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,542 people in 464 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Khamak District, which was divided into two rural districts.[4]
