Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District

Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان ایتیوند جنوبی) is in Itivand District of Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Qomish,[4] transferred from the village of Kahriz-e Varvasht.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Kakavand District) was 6,400 in 1,196 households.[6] There were 5,864 inhabitants in 1,196 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,150 in 1,299 households. The most populous of its 77 villages was Kahriz-e Varvasht, with 670 people.[2]

In 2023, Itivand and Mirbag Districts were established, with two rural districts each that were transferred from Kakavand District and the Central District, respectively.[3]
