Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان هرزندات شرقي)[3] is in the Central District of Marand County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Harzand-e Jadid.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,527 in 1,329 households.[6] There were 4,022 inhabitants in 1,338 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,389 in 1,197 households. The most populous of its 12 villages was Harzand-e Jadid, with 841 people.[2]
