Hankook Ilbo (Korean한국일보; Hanja韓國日報; lit. Korea Daily) is a Korean-language daily newspaper in Seoul, South Korea.[1] As of 2017, it had a daily circulation of about 213,200.[2]

It had been published by the Hankook Ilbo Media Group but following an embezzlement scandal in 2013-2014[3][4] it was sold to Dongwha Enterprise, which also owns The Korea Times.[5][6]
