HUION (Chinese: 绘王) is a Chinese[2] pen tablet display brand[3] founded in 2011 by Henry Xu.[4] It is owned by Huion Trend (short for Shenzhen Huion Trend Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Huion Animation).[5] It mainly manufactures drawing tablets,[6] and pen displays.[7] It also produces digital notebooks.[8] The brand's tablet devices are usually economical,[9] and it developed a stylus technology called PenTech.[10]

HUION specializes in the production of drawing tablets.[11] Its tablet products are suitable for beginners,[12] as well as professionals.[13] The Kamvas and Inspiroy series are the representative products of the brand.[14] Headquartered in Shenzhen,[15] its products are also available in overseas markets such as the US,[16] Singapore, and Indonesia.[17]

HUION is seen as a competitor to Wacom,[18] and they respectively occupy the mid-range and higher-end markets of graphics tablet.[19] In July 2021, the brand released the Kamvas Pro 24.[20] As of November 2022, it had more than 10 million users.[21]

HUION entered the graphics tablet industry in 2011.[22] In 2014, its first light pad product was introduced.[23] In 2019, the brand made a foray into Japan.[24] In the same year, the Kamvas Pro 22 became available.[25]

In 2021, HUION launched the Kamvas 16.[26] In July 2022, its owner's name was changed from Huion Animation to Huion Trend.[5]

In January 2023, the brand rolled out the Kamvas Studio 16 and Kamvas Studio 24.[5] In January 2024, HUION attended CES in Las Vegas.[27]
