Gur-e-Baba Ali (Persian: گورباباعلي), also Romanized as Gūr-e-Bābā Alī and Gūrbābā ‘Alī; also known as Kūr Bābā ‘Alī,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Obatu Rural District[4] of Karaftu District, Divandarreh County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 386 in 75 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 407 people in 83 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 418 people in 95 households.[2]
