I have always had a fascination with punk rock and metal bands, and talking about Genöcide is therefore a natural fit. The interesting thing about this band, which was a crucial part of the East Coast rock scene in the 1980s, is that they already have a Wikipedia page. Given that the band is most notable in the United States and an American band, it is interesting to me that it is German Wikipedia that catalogs them (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genöcide). I am not attempting a direct recreation of the German page, because I believe it can be better-sourced and overall stronger, but this is a reflection of its validity as a page. Though I could've created the page directly, as I have a number of times, I wanted to begin with a draft page to make sure I give it the necessary time and attention.
