  6. Facilitate swift transportation of essential supplies and aid to affected regions during emergencies such as floods along the Yamuna River.[1]

  1. Heavy vehicles are limited to a maximum speed of 60 kilometres per hour (37 mph).
  2. The Yamuna Expressway is India's lengthiest access-controlled concrete expressway.
  3. There are 16 toll (fee) plazas on each side of the expressway.
  4. Medical amenities such as vans, stretchers, and beds are available on request.
  5. Partnerships with two prominent hospitals provide access to air ambulance for urgent situations.
  6. The expressway is equipped with closed-circuit television surveillance.
  7. Vehicle speeds are monitored using surveillance cameras.
