Whalefall is an upcoming American survival thriller film film directed by Brian Duffield, based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Kraus.
Premise
editA scuba diver in search of their father's remains in the ocean is swallowed by a sperm whale, leaving them an hour to find a way to escape.
Production
editIt was announced in March 2024 that 20th Century Studios won a bidding war for the film rights for Daniel Kraus' novel, and had set Brian Duffield as director and co-writer.[1]
