The untitled Evil Dead film is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Sébastien Vaniček, written by Florent Bernard and Vaniček and produced by Robert Tapert, Sam Raimi, and Bruce Campbell. The sixth installment in the Evil Dead franchise, it serves as a spin-off to Evil Dead Rise (2023).

Development

In February 2024, it was announced that a spin-off film of Evil Dead Rise is currently in development. Sébastien Vaniček will serve as director from a screenplay he wrote with Florent Bernard.[1][2][3] Selected by Sam Raimi to helm the new installment in the series, the film's plot is currently under wraps. Raimi and Robert Tapert will serve as producers, with Ghost House Pictures producing the project.[4][5][6][7]
