Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School has developed from Prasarnmit School. which is a specialized secondary school in the area of a systematic advanced teacher training school demonstration school to serve as a place of work for training at the secondary school level of graduate education program students. Srinakharinwirot University and later established a demonstration primary school College of Education It was added as a workplace for training at the elementary level and has developed until the present.
Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School is divided into 2 units: Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary Division) and Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Primary Division).
Currently, there are 48 major subjects taught according to the aptitudes and interests of the students.
School history
editSrinakarinwirot University Demonstration School Prasarnmit was established by the Ministry of Education on 3 July 1952 in the area of the Advanced Teacher Training School. Prasarnmit Road Phra Khanong District Phra Nakhon Province by name Prasanmit School is a specialized secondary school. Under the jurisdiction of the Government School Division Department of Special Education With Ajarn Panus Hannakin as the first headmaster[2][3]
When the Advanced Teacher Training School merged with the College of Education in 1955, Prasarnmit School was transferred to the College of Education. and changed the system to a demonstration school and use the name Demonstration Secondary School College of Education Prasarnmit Later on 24 June 1956 the College of Education was established. Demonstration Primary School College of Education accepts students from the infant level up to the 4th grade, with Associate Professor Phairao Tanthikun as the first headmaster[4][5]
In 1974 the College of Education was upgraded to Srinakarinwirot University causing the two demonstration schools to change their names to Demonstration Secondary School, Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit and Demonstration Primary School, Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit respectively, under the Faculty of Education Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit
In 1991 Srinakharinwirot University merged the administration of Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration Secondary School and Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration Primary School into one school under the name. Srinakarinwirot University Demonstration School Prasarnmit has Associate Professor Prakit Rattanasuwan as the director. Until in 1995 the university resolved to separate the administration into 2 schools again. By specifying that there will be a director of a secondary demonstration school and a director of a primary demonstration school. and use the name Demonstration School of Srinakharinwirot University, Prasarnmit (Secondary Division) and Demonstration School of Srinakharinwirot University, Prasarnmit (Primary Division)[5]
