Sebastine Tar Hon, SAN (born 9 December 1967) is a Nigerian lawyer.[1]

Sebastine is a well-known constitutional lawyer and author. He is often referred to as the father of Evidence Lawal due to his many publications on evidence law in Nigeria.[2]

Sebastine Hon attended St. Francis Primary School, Gboko and the Kings Comprehensive College, Mkar Gboko. He went on to get a degree in law from the University of Jos in 1990 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in 1991.[3]

He is a Principal Partner at his law Firm, S. T. Hon & Co (Gaskiya Chambers) and also had brief stints at Matthias Zwabo and Co, Gboko.[4]

Achievements edit

Mr. Hor has served in various positions in the country as a lawyer and also a contributor to society.[5]

He was appointed in 2021 by Governor Samuel Ortom to serve as the Chairman of the Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor Benue State University, Markudi.[6][7]

He has also served as a Barrister and Solicitor at various courts in Nigeria including the Supreme Court of Nigeria.[8][9]
