Ralph Spencer Steenblik, a registered architect in the state of New York.[1] He is recognized for his contributions to the fields of architecture, academia, and curatorial work. Steenblik co-curated and exhibited his work at an exhibition at the Miller M.Arch Gallery in Columbus, Indiana, entitled Trilateral.[2][3] At Longxi Art Museum in Zeya, China, he curated with David Vardy an exhibition, entitled 无极之地 COMPUTATIONAL IMPRESSIONISM.[4][5] It featured innovative Neural Style Transfer work that "subvert the intended use case".[6] Additionally, he co-curated the TIMEless Exhibition held at the Pacific Design Center with Martin Roy Mervel[7][8], among others. Steenblik was also a co-organizer of the "Sculpting the Architectural Mind" conference, co-sponsored by the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture and held at Pratt Institute School of Architecture.[9][10][11][12] He has spoke at universities around the world and on a panel entitled "Architectural Automation in the Age of Neuromimetic Artificial Intelligence" at an American Institute of Architects New York conference.[13] He is currently Assistant Professor in the Comprehensive Design Program, at Indiana University Bloomington. [14] His work has been appreciated by communities, such as his work with his students and ABC Stewart Montessori School.[15] He is married to Rachel Hunt Steenblik[16]
