The Motley Coffeehouse, often referred to as the Motley, is a student-run coffeehouse at Scripps College, a private liberal arts women's college in Claremont, California. It serves as a center for social life at the school and aims to operate in a feminist and socially responsible manner.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

The Motley closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, reopening in March 2022.[8]

Facility edit

The Motley is located off of Seal Courtyard, near the center of Scripps' campus. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the indoor seating in a brick-walled room adorned with various artworks.[9]
