Morwell Dinamo was based at the Gippsland Croatian Association's headquarters, located between the cities of Morwell and Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley and just beyond the boundary of the Latrobe Regional Airport

Morwell Dinamo was a regular competitor in the Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament, although never claimed victory in the event.
