Margarete von Kunheim, née Luther (17 December 1534 – 1570) was the youngest daughter of Martin Luther and Katharina von Bora. Her birth shortly before Christmas in 1534 is said to have inspired her father to compose the Christmas carol "Vom Himmel hoch, da komm ich her."
