- Comment: Currently I'm only seeing two databases, a non-independent release by his team, and short pieces mentioning him being on the team of the week. Koki Kawachi (川地 功起, Koki Kawachi, born 10 May 2000) is a Japanese footballer currently playing as a defender for Albirex Niigata (S).[1] [2] [3] [4]
Prior to the Singapore stint, he graduated and had played for Chukyo University.[5]
Career
editKawachi made his debut in the Singapore Community Shield and played his first league game against Young Lions FC. He won his first Man of the Match award against the same team.[6] [7] He opens his account against Geylang International. [8]
He had been a standout performer all season so far, earning a spot on the weekly team four times so far as of May 2023.[9] [10] [11] [12]
He was retained for the new season, 2024-2025 after impressing in his debut season.[13] [14] [15] He will be one of the six foreigners allowed in the new season. [16]
