- Comment: Looks notable, but phrases like "where he honed his skills in the studio and developed into a talented recording and performing artist" are not appropriate for an encyclopedia. C F A 💬 03:24, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

Kehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo (born 12 February 1985), professionally known as Kayswitch, is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter. He was born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria but hails from Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is known for being part of the defunct Nigerian music group Mo' Hits, with Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Wande Coal and D'Prince alongside his brother D'Banj.
Life and career
editKehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo was born on February 12, 1985, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, hailing from Sagamu, Ogun State.[1] He grew up in a musically inclined household and attended Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He studied computer science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. From an early age, Oyebanjo had diverse interests ranging from computer science to oil and gas, and even screenwriting. However, his greatest passion was music, which he began exploring while in secondary school. He and his friends would rap for fun, and this hobby gradually evolved into a love for rapping, singing, and songwriting. Kayswitch's musical influences include artists such as Sizzla Kalonji, Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, and Youssou N'Dour, but his greatest influence came from his older brother, D'Banj, who played a key role in shaping his love for music and entertainment.[2] Spending significant time with D'Banj, Kayswitch gradually developed his own musical style. His decision to pursue music professionally came in 2005, after recording a track with late producer Dokta Frabz. He joined Mo' Hits Records, a record label founded by D'Banj and Don Jazzy, where he worked in the studio and developed his craft as a recording and performing artist.
Mo'Hits to DB Records
editKayswitch was signed to Mo' Hits Records among his brother D'banj, Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Wande Coal and D'Prince. He would occasionally appear on singles like "Ten Ten", "My Grind", "Booty Call", among others. However, he did not release any official singles signed to the label. After D'Banj and Don Jazzy had a falling out over creative differences, which caused the dissolution of Mo' Hits, he joined D'Banj's DB Records record label, and released his first official single "Sister Caro" featuring D'Banj, off the D'Kings Men compilation album.[3]
RCA Records deal and D'Kings Men
editIn December 2012, D'Banj and Kayswitch signed a record deal with Sony Music's RCA Records. Prior to that, D'Banj released a single titled "Top of the World" off DKM.[4] On 24 June 2013, DKM was released. The album spawned the singles "Oliver Twist (D'banj song)", "Sister Caro", "Oyato", "Bachelor", "Top of the World", "Cashflow", "Don't Tell Me Nonsense", "For Example", "Why You Love Me", "Finally", and "Obimo (My Heart)". Kayswitch appeared on seven tracks on the album.[4]
Releases
editAs of August 2024, Kayswitch has not released an album, mixtape or EP. However, he has appeared on many albums and singles and has released many different singles under DB Records. On 10 September 2012, Kayswitch released three singles, "Owunmi", "Gone Are The Days", and "Oluwa is Involved".
