Charity Griffith is an American track and field athlete who competes in the high jump.[1]
Career
editGriffith attends Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. In 2022, she finished fifth in the NCAA Outdoor Championship high jump competition.[2]
In 2023, Griffith was named the Most Valuable Performer of the 2023 Mid-American Conference Indoor track Championships and won titles in the pentathlon and the high jump.[3] In June 2023, she won the high jump competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championship held in Austin, Texas.[4] To do so, she set a new personal best height of 1.93m to to upset defending champion and 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Lamara Distin.[5]
