History

"Hazi Md Mofiz Ali" of present Sunamganj,Dowarabazar Upazila, Bangla Bazar Union, Barkhal donated land for this institution which was built over a large area just a few days before the liberation war. In 1970, he established a school named "Hazi Mofiz Ali school" in this building. Currently it is known as "Barkhal M.L. School and College". listed as a school and college
