Cuyón, Coamo, Puerto Rico

Cuyón is a barrio in the municipality of Coamo, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 3,077.[2][3][4]

The Cuyón River runs through this barrio and through Aibonito.

HistoryEdit

When after the Treaty of Paris (1898), the U.S. conducted its first census of Puerto Rico, the combined population of Cuyón barrio and Palmarejo barrio was 1,397.[5]
