Central District (Aliabad County)

The Central District of Aliabad County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان علی‌آباد) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Aliabad-e Katul.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 89,204 in 21,632 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 95,462 people in 27,211 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 97,957 inhabitants in 30,060 households.[2]
