Poor translation of State anthem

The English translation of the lyrics is grammatically poor in many places, and even cleaning up the grammar in each line leaves many difficulties for the reader. I've made a start at repair, but I really think that the reader is poorly served by this format. Translating each line literally and on its own might be good in a textbook, but it's really a bad idea for poetry. I gave up on this effort because I don't know Spanish well enough to undertake the whole poem in anything like reasonable time, let alone reformat the whole section to stanza by stanza translation.
