Re-order of in Signpost article edit

@Liz: I noticed that you changed the sort key of Wikipedia:WikiProject Academic Journals in The Signpost from "*" to "signpost". I changed it back because all other wikiprojects use "*" as a sort key for their Signpost coverage. If you feel strongly about this sort key please change it for all wikiprojects so the order of all entries is consistent. Thanks. XOttawahitech (talk) 14:45, 21 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I try not to feel strongly about much, Ottawahitech....it helps me not get frustrated when other editors revert me. I don't recall my rationale behind this change but it was most likely so that this categories would appear in the proper order in the parent category. Liz Read! @Liz: The use of * as a sort key is common in categories, so I would not say that these entries are not placed "in the proper order". As far as not getting too attached -- that's easy to say for editors who have spent only a couple of minutes on an edit, much harder for those who spend months on a project and then have it removed by a bunch of editors who do not understand it, have no interest in understanding it, and could not care less how the creator of the work feels about it or how the loss of the work affects the community at large.
