editHello I suggest that this category along with Category:American people of Caucasus descent be renamed to and for the reason of demonyms. Just as somebody can't be of England descent, of Canada descent, of United States descent or of France descent, you cannot be of Caucasus descent. The demonym of people form the Caucasus is Caucasian. I fsomebody can help me out in starting this process it would be great. thanks. 199.101.62.21 (talk) 15:14, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
- Sure, but the reason is it "Caucasus" instead of "Caucasian" is because many people use Caucasian to mean white. Changing this category to "Caucasian" would not only be confusing, but it would also inevitably be used by trolls as well. If you have another suggestion, I'm all ears. I agree with you that the category name is awkward though. Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 09:59, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
