- Striver, AndrewRT, I am thinking of proposing an WP:RM of:
- Category:Jihadist organizations → Category:Islamic extremist organizations or Category:Islamic terrorist organizations.
- Perhaps this could then be a sub category to the likes of: Category:Islam-related controversies, Category:Islamic fundamentalism and Category:Islamic terrorism. At present the Category:Islamic extremism has been created only to be a redirect to Islamic fundamentalism. I think it would be beneficial to open this up as a relevant home for various articles some of which might have been mistakenly placed in Category:Jihadism. I think that a move would be appropriate given the context of criticisms of ISIL's "struggles" as "Jihad". What do you think? I personally think that Category:Islamic extremist organizations would be the broader category. It would better accommodate territorial groups like ISIL. Gregkaye ✍♪ 16:58, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
