There was a WP:CFD discussion about moving this category to "Category:History of the Czech Republic", and this was approved in an umbrella move. But the decision was reversed when the question was rasied about this category specifically. It was kept as "Category:Czech history" because it covers the Czech ethnic group, as well as pre-Republic territorial history. -- Beland 3 July 2005 05:15 (UTC)

It was proposed as a speedy move in 2015 and processed as unopposed. This looks fine to me as there are no separate contents about the Czech diaspora. – Fayenatic London 15:08, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
