Cleaning up the category edit

This category has been tagged for clean-up. It seems that the regular and fictional characters on Family Guy have been outnumbered by links to the articles for celebrities that the show parodies. I think that this category can be cleaned-up by removing those celebrities that may have had a small cameo on Family Guy, but no actual regular recurring character. In the alternative, a new category could be created, along the lines of "Celebrities parodied in Family Guy." I appreciate any insight, advice, perspecitives, or alternatives anyone else could provide.danntm 23:56, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • If no one objects, or submit an alternative proposal for clean up, in the next couple of days, I will go ahead and remove all the celebrities who only had cameoes on Family Guy from this category.-danntm 22:58, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Seeing no objection, I will go ahead and begin removing the celebrities with only cameo appearances on Family Guy from this category.-danntm Talk | Contibutions 00:07, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Since you seem to have finished cleaning up this category, I am removing the 'category in need of cleanup' tag. NigelQuinine BlatherToil 02:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have just completed the clean up of the category. In application, as a rule of theme, a character that appeared in at least two distinct episodes to be retained in the character, thus explaining why Kool-Aid Man and Gene Simmons remain in this category. By the way, I apologize in advance to anyway confuse by the fact that I inadvertanly misnamed this category as "list of Family Guy characters" in the notes for the first several edits.-danntm Talk | Contibutions 02:01, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think death deserves an article as he has appeared in several episodes.Stu42 22:53, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
