People do not seem to understand this category. A lot of the terms categorized into it are, properly, merely pejoratives, i.e., meant to disparage. By contrast, a dysphemism is a term with obvious negative connotations used without any disparaging intent. "Shit on a shingle", the US military slang term for chipped beef on toast, is a good example; calling your laser printer a "tree-killer" is another.
