A Problem

All these pages start:
"x is the nth day of the year in the Gregorian calendar."
This is misleading; all entries up to 1582 generally (and up to 1752 in Britain and the Americas) would be dates in the Julian calendar
I suggest it needs fixing; does anyone have any ideas how? Moonraker12 (talk) 13:14, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, this category says it has a total of 344 pages; that's a bit odd, isn't it? Is there a reason why not 365 (or 366, I suppose)? Moonraker12 (talk) 13:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

That's a bug that has never been addressed. The number is never accurate. I know I created a bug for this, but I can't find it. -- Mufka ^{(u) (t) (c)} 00:04, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

A query

Why are we told that there are 363 entries in this category, when there are 365 days in a year (and an extra day, making it 366 days, when the year is a Leap year)? ACEOREVIVED (talk) 00:13, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

It seems to be an error in WikiMedia software. If you look at the listings, you see 200 of 363 and then, when you go to the next page, 166 of 363. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 09:15, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

On This Day

I’ve noticed — for some of the days in October — that some of the entries refer us to the relevant page from OnThisDay.com.

Which is fair enough.

But can we ALSO start adding the equivalent page from Britannica.com?

I also note we’ve long had entries from the BBC, the New Yor Times and the Canada Channel.

Is it possible to add the equivalents — if there are any — from Australia and New Zealand?

And possibly India?

I know it would add extra work, but having entries from major English language counties seems only right.
