I'd like an explanation, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, on the actual definition of a "Chinese dissident". I mean this is the first time I have seen people like Sun Yat-sen equated with Li Hongzhi, or even worse yet, Wuer Kaixi. Colipon+(T) 00:03, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Is it possible that the Chinese dissidents category can be combined with the Chinese activists category? Then perhaps some individuals may be re-categorised as politicians (eg Sun Yat-Sen mentioned above). Also, dissidents and activists work in many areas: corruption, democracy, land reform, womens rights. Perhaps we can create standard definitions so that individual entries can be labeled more effectively.
