Baravat District (Persian: بخش بروات) is in Bam County, Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Baravat.[3]

After the National Census of 2006, Kork and Nartich Rural District and the city of Baravat were separated from the Central District, and Rud Ab-e Gharbi Rural District was separated from Rud Ab District in the establishment of Baravat District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 35,673 people in 11,022 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 59,612 inhabitants in 18,971 households.[2]
