Anzan-e Gharbi Rural District

Anzan-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان انزان غربي), formerly Anzan Rural District (دهستان انزان), is in the Central District of Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Gaz-e Gharbi.[3] It was formerly administered from the village of Now Kandeh,[4] now a city.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,022 in 1,542 households.[5] There were 5,837 inhabitants in 1,760 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,162 in 1,740 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Gaz-e Gharbi, with 1,883 people.[2]
